Chapter 6: Growing Together
Chapter 6: Growing Together
As the years passed, Jae-ho and Arson grew closer. The bond they had forged as children strengthened with each passing day.
They faced the world together, protecting one another like brothers. Anytime someone dared to bully or get near Jae-ho, Arson would step in without hesitation.
His eyes would flash blue, his body emanating a cold aura that was enough to make anyone back off.
By the time they reached adulthood, Jae-ho had transformed into a handsome young man. His once frail body was now strong and well-built, his dark brown hair framing his sharp features.
Despite his growth, there was one thing that hadn’t changed—he still didn’t know how to use his powers. But that didn’t bother him too much. As long as Arson was by his side, he felt safe.
Arson, on the other hand, had grown into a striking figure as well. Though shorter than Jae-ho, he had a presence that commanded attention.
His neck-length black hair often fell into his eyes, giving him a mysterious look that added to his already sharp, handsome face. But while his appearance had changed, his expression towards others remained cold and distant.
They were inseparable. Whether it was sleeping, eating, or simply hanging out, Jae-ho and Arson did everything together. They moved as one, a team in every sense of the word.
However, lately, Jae-ho had begun to notice something strange. Whenever he talked to someone else—whether it was in high school or elsewhere—Arson’s expression would harden.
It wasn’t just his usual cold demeanor. It was something different, something darker. It was almost as if… he was jealous.
Jae-ho brushed the thought aside. Arson had always been protective of him.
Maybe it was nothing more than that. But the more it happened, the harder it became to ignore. What was going on with Arson?
(To be continued…)
