Episode 4: Lost in the Rain

An hour had passed, and the rain hadn’t let up. Arson sat in his small, empty house, staring out the window. He couldn’t stop thinking about the boy.

He had told him to leave, but something didn’t feel right. What if something happened to him? What if he was hurt—or worse?

Cursing under his breath, Arson jumped to his feet and ran out into the storm. His heart pounded as he searched the streets, calling out for Jae-ho.

Jae-ho looked up, his eyes widening in surprise. He didn’t say anything, but the tears on his face said it all. Arson crouched down in front of him, his expression softening just a fraction.

“Come on,” he said, offering his hand. “Let’s get you out of the rain.”

Jae-ho hesitated for a moment before reaching out and taking Arson’s hand. Together, they made their way back to Arson’s house.
